Hope Church Stoke-on-Trent pastor Simon

About Simon

Simon was raised in Birmingham. Christ pulled him out of a life of alcohol and drug use and transformed him from the inside out. Before he was called to the ministry, he had personal and professional experience in addiction. He also worked for ten years as a hospital Operating Department Practitioner, then trained in Community Work (CQCYW). He worked for five years counselling and supporting people living with HIV/AIDS. Finally he trained to be pastor in Wolverhampton and has been a pastor at Park Church before planting Hope Church in Trent Vale along with a small team. Simon loves Jesus, his wife and two children and Max his black lab. He also loves people, music, Birmingham City FC, uploading and downloading, football and tennis.

His life has been so deeply touched by the grace of his wonderful Savior that you may sometimes see him moved to tears during the sermon. At other times, you’ll learn new eloquent English words—like hard-knock 🙂.
